Vet Surgeon – Independent Clinic, West Surrey

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-equipped, independent small animal practice in West Surrey, just a short distance from Guildford. The Role

• Full time or part time Veterinary Surgeon position available

• 1:4 weekends (Saturday 08:30–16:30, Sunday 09:30–12:30 + evening on-call)

• 1 night on-call per week (shared fairly within the team)

• Bank holidays shared equitably across the team

• Mixture of consults, surgery and inpatient care

• Opportunity to be part of a practice providing its own out-of-hours care

About the Practice

• Independent small animal practice established in 2022

• Strong and growing clinical team (3.5 Vets, 4 RVNs, 2 VCAs, 5 Receptionists)

• Well-equipped with:

  • Digital X-ray

  • Ultrasound

  • Laparoscopy

  • Endoscopy

  • Multiparameter monitoring

  • Dental suite

  • In-house laboratory

• Genuine continuity of care with in-house OOH provision

The Ideal Candidate

• Confident Veterinary Surgeon (all levels of experience considered)

• Enthusiastic, team-focused and proactive

• Passionate about delivering high-quality clinical care and client service

• Comfortable with some OOH commitment as part of a rota

• Strong communication and collaborative approach
