An established, gold-standard small animal practice in Melbourne's eastern suburbs is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join its collaborative and supportive team on a permanent full-time or part-time basis.

This busy practice offers a varied caseload across general medicine, surgery, dentistry, behavioural cases, and preventative care, providing an excellent opportunity for veterinarians looking to continue developing their clinical skills in a well-equipped environment. You'll work alongside experienced veterinarians, a highly skilled nursing team, and have access to visiting specialists for additional support and learning opportunities.

The hospital is equipped with modern facilities, including digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house pathology, orthopaedic surgical equipment, chemotherapy capabilities, and advanced surgical technology.

The Opportunity

The clinic is looking for a veterinarian with at least two years of small animal general practice experience who enjoys working collaboratively and delivering high-quality patient care.

The roster is designed to support work-life balance, offering flexible full-time or part-time hours, no Sundays, public holidays, or on-call requirements, and only one Saturday morning roster in three.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • A BVSc (or equivalent) and eligibility for veterinary registration in Australia.
  • At least 2 years' experience in small animal general practice.
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills.
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to high-quality patient care.
  • A genuine passion for continued learning and professional development.
