A client we are representing is seeking a Small Animal Veterinarian to join their independently owned, family-run hospital in beautiful Yeppoon on Queensland’s Capricorn Coast.

Full Time or Part Time | Up to $160,000 + Super | 5 Weeks Annual Leave | On-Site Creche

The Hospital

  • 2 Animal Attendants

  • 3 Receptionists

  • 2 On-site Creche Attendants

This is a true team-based model. Nurses assist with consults, triage, notes, procedures and initial after-hours calls, allowing vets to focus on diagnostics, case management and client communication.

Shared after-hours are rotated and supported, with a 24-hour emergency service for the local community.

The Role

  • 100% Small Animal

  • Full-time or Part-time options available

  • Shared rotating after-hours roster

  • Broad caseload with opportunity to refine core skills and develop advanced capabilities

Whether you enjoy medicine-heavy cases, surgery, or a balanced GP caseload, there is scope to shape the role around your interests.

What’s On Offer

  • Salary up to $160,000 + super (commensurate with experience)

  • After-hours bonuses

  • $500 distribution allowance

  • 5 weeks paid annual leave

  • 10 days paid personal leave

  • 1 week paid study leave

  • Sponsorship available for eligible overseas candidates

Who They’re Looking For

You will:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent)

  • Be eligible for registration in Australia

  • Value teamwork and collaboration

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care

Experienced vets and new graduates seeking a supportive coastal start are both encouraged to apply.

If you’re ready to combine excellent medicine with an enviable coastal lifestyle, this could be the move that changes everything.
