Veterinary Emergency Center of Redlands, is seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Internal Medicine Specialist to join our collaborative emergency and specialty team. Role Overview
The Internal Medicine Specialist will provide advanced diagnostic and medical care for complex cases while collaborating closely with emergency clinicians and referring veterinarians to ensure seamless continuity of care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload including gastrointestinal, endocrine, immune-mediated, infectious, respiratory, and hematologic conditions
  • Perform and interpret advanced diagnostics
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with clear, compassionate client communication
  • Collaborate with ER clinicians and hospital teams to support continuity of care
  • Serve as a clinical mentor and resource for veterinarians and support staff

Qualifications

  • DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
  • Board-Certified (DACVIM) or Residency-Trained in Internal Medicine
  • Active California veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to medicine
