The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a progressive, independently owned practice with both first opinion and referral caseload.

You’ll be primarily based at our busy Hospital, working alongside a collaborative and experienced team, with occasional support required across other branches if needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to inpatients and surgical cases
  • Assist with first opinion and referral procedures, including medical and surgical cases
  • Support advanced diagnostic imaging and rehabilitation
  • Provide excellent patient and client care
  • Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team

About You

  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
  • Previous nursing experience in small animal practice
  • Full UK driving licence
  • A team player with strong communication skills
  • Passionate about patient care and continuous development

Salary & Benefits

  • £26,000 – £33,000 per annum depending on experience

Rota & Hours

  • 3-day week, 10-hour shifts (7.30am–6.30pm, 8.00am–7.00pm, 8.30am–7.30pm), totaling 30 hours
  • 1-hour lunch break per shift
  • Equal rota for daytime in-patient care and assistance with emergencies
  • 1 in 7 weekends and bank holidays worked, with 2 days off in lieu
  • No routine out-of-hours work; only very rare backup support for the dedicated emergency team
