The Opportunity
- Flexible locum opportunity with immediate start available
- Monday to Friday only
- Clinic hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- Flexible roster and hours available
- School hours and part-time arrangements will be considered
- Opportunity for ongoing work while the clinic recruits permanently
- Dogs and cats only
- Independent, family-owned practice
- EzyVet practice management software
The Clinic

The clinic has a varied caseload with a strong focus on:
- Dentistry
- Dental radiography
- Soft tissue surgery
- Lump removals
- Biopsies
- Medical nursing
You’ll be joining a supportive team where everyone works together and contributes to maintaining a positive, organised workplace.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced veterinary nurse who is confident working independently and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
To be successful, you will have:
- Minimum two years’ veterinary nursing experience
- Confidence monitoring anaesthesia
- Strong surgical nursing skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to keep busy during quieter periods
- The ability to work with minimal supervision
- A positive, team-focused approach
- Excellent communication and client care skills
This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys staying hands-on, takes initiative and can comfortably step into an established clinic with minimal onboarding.
