Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a medicine focus to join a 24-hour hospital in South West London. This role is ideal for someone with several years of GP experience who is looking to take on greater responsibility within a hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality medical and surgical care across consults, surgeries, and hospital wards
• Take an active role in hospital operations, supporting junior colleagues and contributing to team development
• Participate in weekend rotations (1:3 Saturdays, 1:10 Sundays) and up to 2 bank holidays per year
• Work collaboratively on internal referral cases requiring advanced hospital expertise
• Engage with specialist colleagues across orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, cardiology, physiotherapy, and laparoscopy

Requirements

• MRCVS registered
• Confident in general practice medicine with hospital experience
• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
• Interest in developing advanced clinical and management skills

• Salary: £45,000–£73,000 FTE depending on experience
