Veterinary Surgeon – 4-Day Week – Central/South East London – Competitive Salary

A well-established small animal practice in Central/South East London is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon (3+ years’ experience) to join a friendly, experienced team. This is a great opportunity if you’re looking for a supportive environment, modern kit, and genuine clinical autonomy.

The practice

You’ll be based in a busy, well-regarded practice with a varied caseload, strong nursing support, and access to a wider referral network whenever needed.

The role

  • Full-time, 4-day week (part-time considered)
  • 1 in 6 weekend rotation supported via a nearby 24-hour hospital site
  • Mix of consults and routine surgery with scope to manage your own cases
  • Support from an established vet team and a skilled nursing team
  • Excellent facilities including: digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, multiparameter monitoring

What they’re looking for

  • MRCVS with 3+ years’ UK (or equivalent) clinical experience
  • Confident in consults and routine surgery
  • Strong client care and a collaborative, team-first approach
  • Someone who enjoys developing clinically and contributing to a positive team culture
