An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a growing, high-performing, and community-focused veterinary practice in Melbourne’s western suburbs.

The Role

  • Perform a wide range of small animal surgical procedures
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and support to veterinary colleagues and team members
  • Collaborate closely with a passionate, multidisciplinary team
  • Build strong, trust-based client relationships through clear communication and education
  • Contribute to ongoing learning and development initiatives
  • Support and mentor veterinary students as they develop clinical skills

About You

  • BVSc or equivalent with current registration in Australia
  • Strong competence in small animal surgery and medicine
  • Interest in mentoring and supporting team development
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative, proactive, and growth-oriented mindset
  • Interest in exotics is advantageous but not essential
