Veterinary Surgeon – Flexible Role, Supportive Team, Salary up to £60,000

My client in Peterborough is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join an experienced and friendly team. You’ll be working across two modern, well-equipped practices with free parking, great facilities, and a positive, collaborative culture.

They are looking for a qualified Veterinary Surgeon (RCVS registered) with:

• Ideally 1+ years’ experience in small animal practice

• Confidence with routine consultations and surgery

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A team-player attitude with the ability to work independently

• A passion for high-quality patient care and animal welfare

They are open to candidates with different interests and experience levels, whether you have a surgical bias or prefer consulting, they can look at tailoring the role to your strengths.

Both full-time and part-time applications are welcome.

• Full-time: 4 longer days per week

• Weekend rota: 1 in 8 full weekends (Sat 9–5, Sun 10–4) and 1 in 6 half weekends (Sat 9–2)

• No out-of-hours work

• Bank holidays shared fairly across the team
