Veterinary Surgeon – £70K | 4 Days | No Weekends or OOH

This is a unique roving role across a network of well-equipped, modern practices in West Yorkshire. You’ll enjoy the variety of locum-style work while benefiting from the stability and support of a permanent position.
You’ll work across several practices, supported by hospital-based teams, with a balance of consulting, surgery, and case management. Each day brings something different — from routine appointments to more complex surgical and medical cases — all while being part of a collaborative and supportive clinical network.

The Environment
You’ll have access to a range of purpose-built, RCVS-accredited facilities, including:
- Digital X-ray, ultrasound, and CT on site (with visiting MRI)
- Fully equipped theatres and dental suites with dental X-ray

- On-site middle-tier referrals in dermatology, ophthalmology, and surgery
You’ll also work alongside a team of highly experienced vets, nurses, and support staff — many of whom are working towards postgraduate certificates in disciplines including surgery, imaging, cardiology, and dermatology.
What We’re Looking For
- A confident vet with solid experience in both consulting and surgery
- Comfortable working across multiple practice sites and managing sole charge
- Competent with routine and non-routine surgical procedures
- Strong communicator who values collaboration and high clinical standards
- Adaptable, organised, and able to thrive in a busy environment
