The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon with 2–3 years’ UK experience to join a brand-new veterinary practice in Cambuslang, Glasgow.

This is a great opportunity for a vet who is looking to develop their skills while enjoying a high level of clinical autonomy and working within a supportive, forward-thinking team.

As part of a new practice, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute your ideas, build strong client relationships and play an important role in establishing the practice from the ground up.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Small animal consultations, diagnostics and surgery
  • Providing high-quality patient and client care
  • Working with a high level of clinical autonomy
  • Building long-term relationships with clients and their pets
  • Using modern equipment and in-house diagnostic facilities
  • Contributing ideas to the development of the practice
  • Working collaboratively with the wider team
  • Continuing to develop your clinical skills and confidence

The practice will have modern facilities and equipment, including digital X-ray, anaesthesia equipment, a dedicated recovery area and in-house laboratory machines, giving you access to a good range of diagnostic capabilities.

About You

This role would suit around a 2–3 year qualified Veterinary Surgeon who is looking for their next step and wants the opportunity to develop within a new practice environment.

You’ll ideally be:

  • A qualified Veterinary Surgeon with around 2–3 years of experience
  • Confident in consultations and routine clinical work
  • Keen to continue developing your surgical and diagnostic skills
  • Comfortable working with clinical autonomy
  • Passionate about patient and client care
  • A good communicator and team player
  • Enthusiastic about contributing to a growing practice
