Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal

Are you a confident Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a well-established small animal practice in East London? GVC is assisting a long-standing, community-focused clinic offering a varied GP caseload, excellent nursing support, and a strong emphasis on wellbeing and development.

This is a full-time permanent role, but part-time options may be available for the right candidate.
 

The Role

• Small animal GP position with a loyal and established client base
• Mix of consultations and routine surgery
• Opportunity to work sole charge with strong nursing and support staff
• Inpatients cared for on site by the nursing team
• On-call is inpatients only and very infrequent
• OOH emergencies covered externally

Hours:

• Average 41.5 hours per week
• 2 in 6 Saturdays
• 1 night per week on call (inpatients only)

About You

• Confident with routine consults and surgery
• Comfortable working in a sole charge environment
• Interest in medicine, surgery, or another discipline welcomed and supported
• Team-focused with good communication skills
