GVC is delighted to be supporting a well-established, RCVS-accredited small animal practice in Suffolk & Norfolk with the recruitment of a Veterinary Surgeon. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team that genuinely values collaboration, clinical excellence, and professional development.

Whether you prefer working from one branch or enjoy the variety of rotating across multiple sites, this role offers flexibility, an excellent work-life balance, and exposure to a diverse and rewarding caseload.

The Role

This permanent position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.

A full-time rota consists of:

  • 36-hour week across 4 days
  • Typical hours of 8:30am–6:30pm
  • 1 in 6 Saturday mornings
  • Time off in lieu following weekend work
  • Option to work from a single site or across multiple branches

The caseload offers an enjoyable mix of medicine and surgery, with a typical week split between:

  • 2 days consulting
  • 2 days surgery

The practice is happy to tailor the role around your clinical interests wherever possible.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon
  • Have completed VetGDP
  • Be confident with both consultations and routine surgery
  • Enjoy working as part of a collaborative and supportive team
  • Be passionate about delivering high-quality patient and client care

Unfortunately, this position is not suitable for new graduates.
