This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established small animal practice in Bideford, North Devon. Whether you’re an experienced vet or looking to progress your career, this role offers a supportive, collaborative environment with plenty of scope to develop your interests.


The Role

  • Flexible rota options – full-time (4-day week, 40 hours) or part-time available

  • No night work or bank holidays

  • Saturdays just 1 in 6

  • Varied caseload including orthopaedics, dentistry (with dental x-ray), and medicine referrals

  • Certificate support and encouragement for ongoing professional development

This long-established practice has been serving its local community for over 100 years and is proud of its friendly and experienced team. The clinic is RCVS accredited and equipped for a wide range of medical and surgical cases. You’ll be joining a team of certificate holders and like-minded professionals who value collaboration, clinical excellence, and balance inside and outside of work.


Location

Nestled between the North Devon coastline and Exmoor National Park, Bideford offers a lifestyle that’s hard to beat — from surfing and hiking to exploring quaint towns and beaches. The role is commutable from Barnstaple, Great Torrington, Westward Ho!, Chulmleigh, Braunton, and surrounding areas.


What You’ll Need

  • MRCVS qualification

  • Great communication and teamwork skills

  • A passion for delivering high-quality care

  • Interest in developing a clinical specialism or pursuing a certificate (desirable)


Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: Up to £60,000 (DOE)
