Veterinary Surgeon & Clinical Lead
Brand-New Independent, Non-Profit Veterinary Practice | Lancashire
GVC are delighted to be assisting a brand-new, independent veterinary practice opening in Lancashire.
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join a non-profit veterinary practice with a clear mission: to provide compassionate, high-quality and affordable veterinary care to local pet owners and rescue organisations.
The practice is being built with a strong focus on accessible care, clinical standards and making a real difference within the local community. As a founding member of the team, you will have the opportunity to help shape the practice from the very beginning.
The Opportunity
The practice will operate Monday to Saturday, 8:00am–7:00pm, with flexible working patterns available.
The current shift structure includes:
- Surgery shift: 8:00am–4:00pm / 5:00pm
- Consultation shift: 11:00am–7:00pm
- Flexible hours and working patterns can be discussed for the right candidates
- Standard consultations are 20 minutes
- Euthanasia appointments are 40 minutes
The team will initially focus on daytime services, with the ambition to introduce out-of-hours services within approximately two months of opening, subject to recruiting the right permanent team.
Due to the practice's affordable pricing, the OOH service is expected to be genuinely busy, with a strong demand from local pet owners and rescue organisations.
