We’re recruiting a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, RCVS-accredited practice in East Lancashire, UK. The Role

  • Consulting-focused position with strong client interaction
  • Based primarily at a well-equipped branch practice
  • Option to include routine surgery if desired
  • Full-time role, with flexible or part-time working considered
  • No out-of-hours – dedicated internal OOH service provided by the wider team
  • Salary £45,000 – £65,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality first opinion small animal consultations
  • Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication
  • Work collaboratively with vets, nurses and support staff
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive clinical culture

Requirements

  • Qualified Veterinary Surgeon registered with the RCVS
  • Completed VetGDP or confident in routine consultations
  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • Enthusiasm for continued learning and CPD
