GVC are currently assisting a well-established veterinary practice in St Albans, Hertfordshire, who are looking for a Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

This is an exciting time to join the practice as they welcome a new Partner, providing a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to play a key role in developing the practice and helping take it to the next level, with the support of the wider network.

Based in the heart of St Albans, the practice benefits from a loyal client base and established caseload. The role will include sole-charge responsibility, so you’ll need to be a confident all-rounder who is comfortable with routine surgery, dentistry and medical cases.

About You

You’ll be a qualified MRCVS with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and building strong relationships with clients.

You should be a confident, capable all-rounder who is comfortable working independently and managing a varied caseload, including routine surgery and basic medical procedures. Most importantly, you’ll be a team player who is keen to contribute to the continued development of the practice.

  • Providing exceptional clinical care across consultations and surgery
  • Developing tailored treatment plans in partnership with clients
  • Managing a varied medical, surgical and dental caseload
  • Working confidently in a sole-charge environment
  • Collaborating with the wider veterinary team and clinical communities
  • Supporting the continued development of the practice
  • Maintaining the highest standards of clinical, regulatory and operational compliance
