Veterinary Surgeon – South Hampshire

Join a friendly, independent small animal practice in South Hampshire, where flexibility, teamwork, and genuine work-life balance come first.

This well-established 4-Vet practice is looking for a confident and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive team from January 2026. With no out-of-hours and only a light weekend rota, this role offers a great mix of clinical variety and quality of life.

The Role

You’ll be joining a stable, well-rounded team of experienced Vets, supported by 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, and a dedicated reception and management team. The practice is busy but relaxed, with plenty of time to focus on patient care and continuity.

Key details:

• 🩺 Full-time Veterinary Surgeon (approx. 40 hours per week)

• 📅 Start date: January 2026 (flexible)

• 🕓 Typical day: 8:45am – 7:00pm with a full lunch break

• 💬 15-minute consultations

• 📆 1 in 4 Saturday mornings

• 🌙 No out-of-hours or on-call

The team includes an experienced all-rounder, a Vet with a strong interest in ultrasound, and others with a focus on surgery and dentistry – offering a balanced, collaborative mix of skills.
