An established, forward-thinking veterinary practice in Lancashire is seeking a confident and proactive Veterinary Surgeon to join its experienced and friendly four-vet team.

This dynamic role offers a real opportunity to make an impact and help shape the next chapter of a busy, community-loved clinic.

About the Practice
The clinic provides a true mix of consulting and surgery, supported by a brilliant nursing and client care team.
A three-times surgery certificate holder is on-site, and the practice works closely with a nearby 24-hour hospital and surrounding branches for clinical collaboration and internal referrals.

The clinic is well-equipped with modern facilities including laparoscopy, endoscopy, TTA kit, patella luxation equipment, high-quality ultrasound, digital and dental X-ray, capnography, and ventilators.

Currently undergoing an exciting refurbishment, the practice is looking for an enthusiastic team member to join as it embarks on its next chapter.

The Role
This full-time position is ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2 years of UK small animal practice experience who enjoys hands-on clinical work with autonomy.

The role typically involves:

  • Delivering exceptional clinical care in consults and surgery, meeting the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance
  • Developing tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients
  • Working collaboratively within a supportive team environment
  • Sharing expertise and supporting the development of the wider practice community

Work-Life Balance

  • 4-day week with no OOH
  • Fair share of weekend cover (1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends)
