Veterinary Surgeon – Full-time/Part-time, Small Animal
Location: Nottinghamshire

GVC is recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and supportive small animal team in Nottinghamshire. This permanent role is suitable for a vet with post-graduate experience, comfortable working on the day rota including weekends.

Part-time hours are considered for the right candidate. A medical bias is preferable, and support for certificate training is available. The practice has a dedicated out-of-hours team for night cover.

About the Practice:
The practice operates with a tier 3 hospital status, providing both first opinion and advanced care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The team includes a mix of experienced vets and certificate holders in areas such as Surgery, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Anaesthesia, and Dermatology. Facilities include high-end imaging (ultrasound, digital radiography, dental radiography), endoscopy, laparoscopy, laser therapy, acupuncture, physiotherapy, and a fully equipped laboratory with rapid haematology and cytology interpretation. Planned expansion includes a CT scanner, with completion expected in 2026.

Team:
The hospital team consists of a group of experienced, supportive professionals dedicated to delivering the highest standards of veterinary care. Staff include veterinarians, nurses, and support colleagues who work together to provide a positive and collaborative workplace.

Situated in Nottinghamshire, the practice benefits from excellent transport links, making it ideal for commuters.
