Who They Are
This is a well‑established, RCVS‑accredited multi‑site small animal practice located across South West London, offering high‑quality first‑opinion care. The practice operates from three sites with modern facilities and a diverse clinical team.
The practice is equipped with endoscopy, laparoscopy, ultrasound, radiography, Class 4 laser equipment, and an in‑house laboratory, enabling thorough diagnosis and case management. The veterinary team includes colleagues with additional qualifications in areas such as emergency and critical care, small animal medicine, surgery, exotics, dermatology, and consulting, supported by an experienced nursing and client‑care team.
The surrounding area offers excellent transport links, including access to the Southwestern rail network, and a vibrant community with a variety of amenities.
What You’ll Do
- Provide first‑opinion consultations, routine surgical procedures, and medical work‑ups across a varied caseload.
- Manage your own cases with support and collaboration available from experienced clinicians and certificate holders.
- Work within a structured rota of 38.3 hours per week over four weekdays, with a set weekly day off.
- Participate in 1 in 4 Saturday shifts (09:00–17:00) and 1 in 12 Sunday shifts (10:00–16:00).
- Maintain accurate clinical records and follow RCVS guidance on professional standards and informed consent.
- Contribute to team discussions, continuity of care, and shared case management across multiple sites.
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities and training sessions.
No out‑of‑hours responsibilities are required.
