Veterinary Surgeon – No OOH, 4-Day Week – South Birmingham – £65,000–£70,000

About the practice

• Established first-opinion small animal practice in a pleasant semi-rural setting.
• Just off the M42, with easy access to Birmingham, Solihull and the countryside.
• Kit includes:
  • digital X-ray
  • dental X-ray
  • ultrasound
  • in-house lab
  • access to CT at a nearby sister hospital
• Strongly focused on development, with support for whatever CPD interests you.
• Long-running partnership with a national cat welfare charity 🐱 The team examines cats at the charity’s centre each week and then treats and operates on them at the practice.

About the role

• 40 hours across 4 days.
• 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.
• No OOH and minimal bank holidays.
• Typically one operating shift and three consulting shifts a week.
• Part-time and flexible patterns considered.

• An experienced small animal vet with good clinical autonomy.
• Confident leading medical and surgical cases.
• A supportive team player who enjoys mentoring.
• Excellent client care.

• £65,000–£70,000, depending on experience 💷
• No OOH 🌙
• Up to 33 days’ holiday, with the option to buy or sell.
