We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and established team across two small animal practices in St Ives and Redruth, Cornwall. This is a part-time, permanent role (around 3 days per week), offering flexibility, no out-of-hours, and the chance to enjoy the Cornish lifestyle alongside a rewarding clinical career.

Both practices are well-equipped and well-supported, with modern facilities and a loyal client base. You’ll work alongside a skilled nursing and vet team across both sites, with opportunities to collaborate, learn, and grow within a supportive and progressive environment.

The Role

• Consult, diagnose and perform routine surgery across both sites

• Deliver excellent patient and client care, building trusted relationships

• Handle sole-charge shifts confidently (mainly at St Ives)

• Participate in a 1 in 3 Saturday rota (8:30am–12:30pm), with no OOH or bank holidays

• Flexible part-time hours (full-time also considered for the right candidate)

Requirements

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon

• Minimum 3 years’ UK experience

• Confident with routine surgery, consultations, and diagnostics

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Enjoys working independently and collaboratively across multiple sites
