Who They Are 

GVC is supporting a small animal practice in Exeter with an established, collaborative team and a varied caseload, including exposure to exotics within the wider vet team. The practice is supported by a strong clinical set-up and ongoing leadership support.

Team structure includes:

• 3 Veterinary Surgeons (including one with an exotics interest)
• 3 RVNs, 1 SVN
• 2 VCAs and 2 client care colleagues

What You’ll Do 

This is a full-time Veterinary Surgeon position focused on delivering consistent, high-quality first-opinion care. You’ll:

• Deliver high standards in consulting and surgery with patient safety and client communication at the centre
• Work up cases using available diagnostics to support sound clinical decisions
• Contribute to a collaborative clinical culture—sharing knowledge and supporting the team
• Maintain strong clinical and operational compliance standards in day-to-day work

Working pattern: 40 hours per week, no OOH, with Saturday rota cover.
