Veterinary Surgeon – South London

Full-time • 40 hours • 1 in 6 weekends

A rare opportunity has opened within a 24-hour hospital in vibrant South London. This role is ideal for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon (5+ years) who thrives on a varied caseload and wants the autonomy to fully manage their own cases, from diagnostics and imaging through to inpatient care and client communication.

You’ll work alongside a skilled clinical and nursing team and enjoy access to advanced facilities including CT, endoscopy, laparoscopic procedures, orthopaedics, and occasional exotic cases. The hospital offers a supportive, collaborative environment with excellent scope for professional growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering high-quality clinical care across consults, procedures and ECC
• Creating accurate treatment plans with clear client communication
• Leading by example and supporting your wider clinical team
• Mentoring colleagues and promoting a progressive, best-practice culture
• Ensuring smooth clinical handovers and continuity of care

What We’re Looking For

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
• Minimum 5 years’ UK experience
• Strong teamwork, communication and leadership skills
• Confidence managing a varied caseload, including ECC
• Supportive approach to nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures
