Veterinary Surgeon

Full-time, 3¼ days per week + 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
Salary: Up to £50,000 per year (dependent on experience)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, supportive small animal practice in Southampton, Hampshire. This role is ideal for early-career vets looking to continue their development in a friendly and collaborative environment.

The Location

• Based close to Southampton town centre, Hampshire.
• Easy access to New Forest and local beaches – perfect for work-life balance.
• Approximately 80 miles south-west of London and 20 miles west of Portsmouth – excellent for commuters.

The Team

• Join a team of experienced vets, nurses, receptionists, and admin staff.
• Collaborative and supportive environment focused on continuity of care.
• The team is looking for a new vet to enhance patient care and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

The Role

• Full-time, 3.75-day week:
  • 3 full days: 9:00am – 7:00pm
  • Half day: 9:00am – 1:30pm
  • 1 in 4 Saturday morning: included in rota
• Suitable for vets with core clinical skills, looking to develop surgical confidence.
• Mentorship and training provided to support career progression.
