Global Veterinary Careers (GVC) are delighted to be assisting an exciting independent veterinary group with the recruitment of an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon for their brand-new, state-of-the-art practice opening this winter in Buckinghamshire.

The Role
As an experienced Veterinary Surgeon, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding first-opinion care across a varied medical and surgical caseload.
You'll enjoy clinical freedom, excellent facilities, and the support of an experienced leadership team, allowing you to focus on providing the very best care for your patients while continuing to develop professionally.
This role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon with 4+ years' post-qualification experience who enjoys both consulting and surgery and is confident managing a varied caseload.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver high-quality first-opinion medical and surgical care.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication.
- Work collaboratively alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to a positive, supportive and inclusive team culture.
- Help shape the development of a brand-new practice.
- Champion evidence-based veterinary medicine and clinical excellence.
- Support and mentor less experienced colleagues where appropriate.
- Participate in clinical discussions, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- MRCVS registered.
- A Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon with 4+ years' experience.
- Confident managing both consultations and routine surgery.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding patient and client care.
- A proactive team player who enjoys working collaboratively.
- Keen to continue learning and developing professionally.
- Excited by the opportunity to join and grow with a brand-new independent practice.
