Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE
Hours: Full-time (4 days per week) | Part-time considered
Weekends: Fair share of Saturdays (with time off in lieu) | No OOH

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, modern, and well-equipped small animal practice that prides itself on high standards of patient care, teamwork, and a genuine focus on work-life balance.

The Role

The successful candidate will manage a varied small animal caseload with full clinical freedom and strong support from an experienced nursing and admin team. The role offers an excellent blend of consults and surgery, with time protected for case work-ups and breaks always respected.

What You’ll Be Doing

Providing high-quality first-opinion veterinary care and client consultations

Performing routine and soft tissue surgeries with confidence

Working independently with sole charge when required

Building lasting client relationships and delivering exceptional care

Collaborating closely with a supportive team of RVNs, VCAs, and reception staff

What They’re Looking For

MRCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with 1+ years experience 

Confident in both medicine and surgery

Strong communicator with a compassionate, proactive approach

Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

What’s on Offer
