Founder & Managing Director
With close to two decades of experience in veterinary recruitment, Adam founded Global Veterinary Careers in 2018 with a clear vision; to redefine what a veterinary specific recruitment agency could be. Under his leadership, GVC has grown into the world’s leading global veterinary recruitment partner, connecting professionals and employers across multiple continents.
Driven by his passion of always chasing perfection, Adam leads GVC’s global operations with a focus on innovation, integrity, and people. He’s passionate about creating meaningful careers, growing a world-class team, and continuing to raise standards in the veterinary profession.

Jack Shuttleworth
APAC Director
Jack is one of the founding members of GVC, joining the business at its inception in 2018. After relocating to Sydney in 2019, he worked as Talent Manager for one of Australia’s largest veterinary employers, where he spent two years building a strong network across the ANZ veterinary market. In early 2022, Jack re-joined GVC to spearhead growth across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
With extensive experience in veterinary recruitment, Jack is known for his strategic, people-first approach and his commitment to achieving the best outcomes for both clients and candidates. Outside the office, he is a champion of fizz, an Adele superfan, and rumoured to hold the southern hemisphere record for “pints per hour.”

Naomi Marshall
Head of People
After many years in recruitment (primarily within commercial, office-based sectors) Naomi joined Global Veterinary Careers in 2020. Starting in an Office Manager role which soon progressed to Head of People, she combines industry experience with a passion for building strong teams and supporting the organisation’s growth.
Her focus is on hiring people who believe in GVC’s values and goals, creating an environment where culture thrives, career pathways are clear, and progression opportunities are genuine.
Outside of work, Naomi is a proud mum to an energetic 11-year-old boy who keeps her busy with football matches and taxi duties. When she can, she enjoys playing (or at least attempting!) padel, and in the summer months you’ll often find her in Cornwall soaking up the beach life.

With previous experience working for a tools and machinery supplier, raising five cats growing up, and dabbling as a teenage musician, he’s always the one people want to “get the guitar” at socials.
